Fans waiting for MobLand Season 2 finally have a clearer idea of when the show will return. The update comes from director Guy Ritchie during a recent promotional interview with ScreenRant, where he discussed his upcoming projects and briefly confirmed the release window for the next season of the crime drama.

MobLand follows the violent and fast-moving world of the Harrigan crime family, with Tom Hardy leading the series as Harry Da Souza, a highly skilled fixer who handles the family’s most dangerous problems. The first season became a breakout hit when it aired last summer, quickly building strong anticipation for what comes next.

Since the Season 1 finale, production on the new season has been moving steadily forward. In April, cast members confirmed that filming had wrapped after sharing posts from the wrap party on social media. Some of the actors also teased that Season 2 will push things further than before, with Emmett J. Scanlan describing it as “season 1 on steroids.”

Now, according to Guy Ritchie, the wait for new episodes will not last much longer. Speaking to ScreenRant, he confirmed that MobLand Season 2 is expected to arrive before the end of the year.

“Well, we finished our bit, so we’re wrapping up that whole series now,” Ritchie said while discussing his current schedule. He also added, “And then we’ve got The Gentlemen coming out soon, before the end of the year. I think we’ve got a few things. We’ve got MobLand before the end of the year, and we’ve got The Gentlemen before the end of the year. And we’ve got Wife & Dog. We’ve got three or four things coming out before the end of the year.”

The update suggests that post-production is already in its final stages, meaning the series is now close to release. While an exact date has not been announced, the confirmation of a same-year window gives fans a more concrete expectation after months of uncertainty.

Season 2 will see the return of key cast members, including Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan, Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan, and Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan. The story will continue to follow the escalating power struggles within the Harrigan family, with the stakes expected to rise significantly following the events of the first season.

New cast additions are also set to appear in the upcoming season, including Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond, adding new dynamics to the already tense crime world.

While MobLand Season 3 has not been officially confirmed, the show’s strong performance and continued popularity have led to speculation that more seasons could follow. For now, attention remains on Season 2, which is expected to arrive later this year on Paramount+.
