New ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 Bullseye Suit Finally Goes Full Comic Book With One Incredible Detail
Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye is finally getting closer to the version Marvel fans have wanted to see for years. New photos and videos from the set of Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 are giving fans their best look yet at Dex’s upgraded suit, and one detail in particular has everyone talking.
The information comes from recent set photos and updates shared online during production of the upcoming season. Wilson Bethel also teased the new look himself on Instagram, posting a close-up image of Bullseye’s gloved hand and armor with the caption “Stepping out. #S3”. Fans immediately noticed the darker black-and-gray style, along with the classic bullseye symbols finally becoming more visible on the costume.
But later images from the set revealed something even more interesting. Bullseye’s helmet appears to feature a built-in camera system, adding a new layer to the character’s updated design.
That small detail has sparked a lot of discussion online because it actually fits perfectly with the direction the character has been heading in since Season 2. Dex is no longer operating as a chaotic lone assassin running around New York on personal vendettas. By the end of last season, he had become connected to much larger operations tied to government agencies and covert missions.
In the series, Bullseye was last seen working with Mr. Charles, the CIA-linked figure connected to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine’s network. That storyline suggested Dex was moving into a world of surveillance, black ops, and politically controlled missions. A helmet camera would make sense for someone now being used as a government-controlled operative rather than just a freelance killer.
Fans also think the camera detail could play into future MCU storylines. Some theories suggest Bullseye may now be recording missions for intelligence purposes, while others believe the footage could be used for manipulation, blackmail, or tracking enhanced individuals. Marvel has not confirmed any of this yet, but the costume detail has already made the character feel more connected to the larger MCU world.
The upgraded suit is also being praised because it finally feels closer to Bullseye’s comic book appearance. In Netflix’s original Daredevil series and the earlier seasons of Born Again, Dex mostly wore tactical gear that looked grounded and homemade. Many longtime comic readers criticized those outfits for feeling too plain compared to Bullseye’s more recognizable comic designs.
Season 3 appears to be changing that. The armor looks more advanced, more polished, and much more stylized than before. While Marvel still seems committed to keeping the character realistic, the new design feels far more like a true comic-inspired supervillain costume.

At the same time, Bullseye’s role in the story also seems to be growing. While the return of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand is getting a lot of attention, Dex may end up becoming one of the season’s most important characters. His shift from unstable assassin to trained government weapon creates a dangerous new dynamic for the series.
Production on Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is currently underway, with filming taking place across New York City. The season is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2027 as part of the MCU’s Phase Six lineup.
For now, Marvel is still keeping most story details secret. But based on the latest set photos, Bullseye is entering Season 3 with a much bigger presence, a more comic-accurate look, and a helmet detail that could hint at something far darker behind the scenes.
