‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 Set Leak Shows Finn Jones Back as Iron Fist

The first clear look at Finn Jones returning as Danny Rand, also known as Iron Fist, has appeared through new set photos from “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 3.

Production on Season 3 began in New York City in March, and filming is still underway. Until now, fans had only seen Finn Jones in blurred behind-the-scenes shots or distant glimpses during filming. These new set photos give a much clearer view of his return and confirm that Danny Rand is back in the story in a major way.

The photos reportedly show Danny Rand reunited with Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter. The two characters, who last appeared together in the “Defenders” storyline, look relaxed and casual in the images. They appear to be walking through a park with Luke’s daughter, Danielle Cage.

Danielle Cage has already been teased in earlier story details. In the comics, she is named after Danny Rand, who is also her godfather. The MCU version of her character may follow a similar idea, though the series could also change parts of her backstory.

The scene begins as a light moment between friends. Danny Rand is seen joking around and even trying to take ice cream from Danielle while Luke watches. The tone is described as playful and simple, showing a softer side of the characters before any action begins.

However, the calm does not last. The set photos and production details suggest that Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye enters the scene later. He is reportedly seen in a new armored look and heavily armed, which signals a violent shift in the story.

A production clapperboard seen on set also confirmed that filming was taking place for Season 3, Episode 5. This episode is expected to include the park scene involving Luke Cage, Danny Rand, Danielle Cage, and Bullseye all in one storyline.

The report also suggests that this moment could be important for the wider “Daredevil: Born Again” narrative. The series is already building toward a full reunion of the Defenders team, including Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. While Matt Murdock is currently in prison within the story, the other characters are slowly being brought back into focus.

Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed Finn Jones’ return yet. Because of that, many details about how Danny Rand fits into the larger plot remain unclear. Some early theories suggest that he may take on a more active street-level role in New York while other heroes are separated or dealing with their own conflicts.

There is also speculation that Danielle Cage could play a larger role in the future of the MCU. In the comics, she eventually shows signs of superpowers inherited from her parents, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. If the show follows that idea, her appearance in this episode could be an early hint at that direction.

The presence of Bullseye also raises questions about who he is working for and what his mission is during this part of the season. Earlier reports linked him to deeper criminal operations connected to new power players in the story.

While Marvel has not revealed official plot details, the set photos strongly suggest that Episode 5 of Season 3 will be a turning point. It mixes light character moments with the sudden arrival of danger, setting up a clash that could affect multiple characters going forward.

For now, fans only have these set images to go on, but they clearly confirm one thing. Finn Jones is back as Iron Fist, and his return is already connected to some of the biggest characters in the “Daredevil: Born Again” world.
