‘The Boys’ Star Antony Starr Gets Custom Homelander Nike Sneakers
Antony Starr, known for playing the intense villain Homelander in Amazon Prime Video’s hit series The Boys, has shared a new look at a pair of custom Nike sneakers made just for him. The actor posted the shoes on his personal social media, and fans quickly reacted to the unique design that directly connects to his character.
The sneakers are Nike Dunks, a popular model, but these are not normal retail shoes. They were custom-designed with clear Homelander inspiration.
The color scheme matches the character’s suit from the show, with deep maroon leather, dark blue panels, and a metallic gold Nike swoosh. Bright red laces stand out across the top. On the heel, there is also a small gold detail featuring a vulture and the word “HOMELANDER,” making the connection to the character even more obvious.
Starr shared the image himself and added a short message for fans. He wrote, By the way – it never came up but I was wearing the Homelander kicks from @nike.
The post comes as The Boys continues to be one of the most talked-about superhero series on streaming. The show, produced by Amazon, follows a world where superheroes are controlled by a powerful company, Vought International, and Homelander sits at the center of its darkest storylines.
In the final season, Homelander’s story took a major turn as he pushed further into control over the world around him. He gained more influence, strengthened his power base, and even pulled his son Ryan closer into his side. The season, however, ended with him being brutally murdered by Butcher with a crowbar.

The custom sneakers highlight how much influence The Boys has built in pop culture. What started as a comic book adaptation has now turned into a major franchise, where even character-inspired fashion pieces gain attention online.
The shoes themselves will not be sold publicly, as they were created specifically for Starr. But the design has already sparked interest among fans who admire the mix of streetwear and superhero aesthetics.
