Camila Mendes Sizzles in Jaw-Dropping Look at ‘Masters of the Universe’ Berlin Premiere

Camila Mendes brought major attention to the red carpet at the Masters of the Universe premiere in Berlin, showing up in a bold white look that quickly became one of the most talked-about fashion moments from the event.

The actress, who plays Teela in the upcoming fantasy movie, arrived in a bold leopard-print dress in black, brown, and tan with an asymmetrical one-shoulder design and a ruffled, draped neckline. The dress has a fitted silhouette with corset-style detailing that emphasizes the shape.

She pairs the outfit with a minimalist silver choker, matching wide metallic cuff bracelets on both wrists, and small silver hoop earrings, creating a modern, coordinated metallic accent throughout the look.

Photos from the event quickly spread online as fans reacted to the Riverdale star’s dramatic transformation for the movie adaptation.

The premiere comes as excitement continues growing around Masters of the Universe, which is set to hit theaters on June 5. The film is based on the classic Mattel franchise and marks the second live-action adaptation after the 1987 movie.

This new version stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam, also known as He-Man, while Mendes plays Teela, one of Eternia’s strongest warriors and closest allies to the main hero. The cast also includes Jared Leto as Skeletor, alongside Alison Brie, Idris Elba, Morena Baccarin, Kristen Wiig, and James Purefoy.

The movie is directed by Travis Knight and follows Prince Adam as he returns to Eternia after years away. Once back home, he discovers the planet has fallen under Skeletor’s control. Adam must then embrace his destiny as He-Man and fight to save his world.

The project has gone through a long development process over the years. Earlier versions of the film were planned at Sony and Netflix before Amazon MGM Studios eventually took over production. Several actors and directors were attached at different points before the current version finally moved forward.

Filming took place in London throughout the first half of 2025, and the movie officially premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre earlier this month before its wider release next week.

At the Berlin premiere, Mendes easily became one of the night’s biggest talking points thanks to her fashion choice and growing role in the franchise. Fans online praised both her red carpet appearance and her transformation into Teela, especially after recent trailers gave viewers a closer look at the character in action.

With the movie release now just days away, Mendes’ premiere appearance only added more hype around the fantasy reboot and its cast.
