Adria Arjona’s Mind-Blowing Transformation for ‘Man of Tomorrow’ Is Leaving Fans Speechless
Adria Arjona recently shared new content on Instagram while filming is underway for Man of Tomorrow. In her post, she showed herself training with her personal trainer Paolo Mascitti. The video focused on her doing heavy weight exercises, filmed from behind. She also included the song “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne in the background of the clip.
She later shared another image, a mirror selfie taken with Mascitti. In the photo, both of them are standing in front of a mirror that looked slightly marked or dirty, with some numbers written on it. The image was also reposted by Mascitti on his own account, showing that both were sharing content from the same training session.

These posts come at a time when production on Man of Tomorrow is actively happening. The film is being shot in multiple locations, including Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, the United Kingdom, and Cincinnati, Ohio. Filming has already begun and is expected to continue through mid-2026.
Arjona’s involvement in the film has also drawn attention because of her reported role. She will play Maxima, a character from DC Comics. Maxima is often shown as the queen of the planet Almerac.
In the comics, she is first introduced as a powerful and aggressive ruler who believes she is destined to find a strong mate, often connecting her story to Superman. Over time, the character has also been written in more heroic directions, including joining the Justice League in some versions.
The film itself focuses on Superman and Lex Luthor, who are forced to work together when a much bigger threat appears. That threat is Brainiac, a highly intelligent alien android who often serves as one of Superman’s major enemies in DC stories. The setup suggests a story where traditional enemies have to cooperate to survive a larger danger.
There has also been fan discussion about whether the movie may take inspiration from the comic storyline “Panic in the Sky.” In that story, Brainiac attempts an invasion, and several heroes unite to stop him. Maxima appears in parts of that storyline as well, sometimes switching sides during the conflict. While there is no official confirmation that the film will follow this plot, fans have pointed out similarities based on what is currently known.
The film is part of the new DC Universe plan led by James Gunn. Gunn is writing and directing Man of Tomorrow, and the project follows the upcoming Superman film starring David Corenswet. Corenswet plays Clark Kent / Superman, while Nicholas Hoult plays Lex Luthor. The cast also includes Rachel Brosnahan, Skyler Gisondo, Isabela Merced, Frank Grillo, María Gabriela de Faría, Sara Sampaio, Milly Alcock, Lars Eidinger, and Aaron Pierre.
Production was first announced in stages, with Gunn confirming work on a follow-up to Superman in mid-2025. More casting updates and story details were revealed later that year. Filming officially began in April, marking the start of a long shoot across several countries.
Man of Tomorrow is currently scheduled for release on July 9, 2027, through Warner Bros. Pictures. It is part of the DCU’s Chapter One: Gods and Monsters storyline plan, which is designed to introduce a connected universe of films and characters.
For now, Arjona’s training posts give fans a small look at preparation happening behind the scenes, while filming continues across multiple locations.
