Robert De Niro (82) and Tiffany Chen (46) Enjoy Glamorous Getaway as Couple’s Romance Steals the Spotlight
Robert De Niro and Tiffany Chen looked happier than ever during a relaxing getaway in one of France’s most glamorous destinations. The Oscar-winning actor and his longtime partner were recently seen enjoying time together on the French Riviera, showing a rare public glimpse of their relationship.
The couple was photographed leaving the famous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes before heading toward a waiting boat. De Niro, 82, was seen holding hands with Chen, 46, as they walked along the jetty, creating a sweet moment that quickly caught attention.
The actor kept his vacation style simple and comfortable, wearing a white polo shirt, beige cargo trousers, a khaki cap, and black sandals. Chen matched the luxury seaside setting with a flowing taupe dress, a large sun hat, and sunglasses as the pair enjoyed their time away from the spotlight.
According to reports from the outing, De Niro and Chen appeared relaxed as they made their way onto the boat. Crew members helped the actor board, while Chen followed shortly after. The couple later sat together on the deck while taking in views of the Mediterranean.
The romantic trip comes after several years of the pair quietly building their life together. De Niro and Chen first met while working on the 2015 movie ‘The Intern’, where Chen appeared in a small role as a martial arts instructor. Although they did not immediately begin a relationship, the two later reconnected and started dating around 2021.
Their relationship became public when they were spotted together during a trip to the South of France. Since then, the pair has continued to keep much of their personal life private while occasionally appearing together at major events.
One of the biggest moments in their relationship came in 2023 when De Niro revealed that he had welcomed his seventh child, daughter Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro, with Chen. The actor was 79 years old at the time, and he has spoken openly about how much happiness his youngest child has brought into his life.
Speaking with AARP The Magazine, De Niro shared how his daughter changed his daily life. “Everything that I’m consumed with or worried about or this and that just goes away when I look at her,” he said. “It’s wondrous.”
The actor is already a father to six older children from previous relationships. His family includes Drena, Raphael, twins Julian and Airyn, Elliot, and Helen Grace. Despite his busy career, De Niro has often talked about the importance of family and how fatherhood continues to be a meaningful part of his life.
