Marvel Just Dropped a Stunning New International Poster for ‘Avengers: Endgame Encore’
Marvel Studios has never been shy about celebrating its own legacy, and with ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ now looming on the horizon, the studio is turning to one of its biggest triumphs to help build anticipation. Nostalgia has become a powerful marketing tool in Hollywood, and few films carry as much emotional weight for Marvel fans as the finale that closed out the Infinity Saga.
That film is getting a fresh moment in the spotlight this fall. ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ originally released back in April 2019, shattered box office records upon its debut and became the culmination of more than a decade of interconnected storytelling across twenty-two films.
Now Marvel Studios has confirmed the film’s return to the big screen under a new banner: ‘Avengers Endgame: Encore.’ The re-release begins Friday, September 25, and comes packaged with an exclusive incentive for fans, an early look at ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ that will only be shown as part of this special theatrical presentation.

That exclusive footage adds real stakes to the re-release beyond simple nostalgia. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ isn’t set to hit theaters until December 18, meaning ‘Endgame Encore’ offers audiences their first chance to see a preview of the next Avengers chapter months ahead of its actual premiere.
Fans catching the film in IMAX or on Disney’s newly launched Infinity Vision certified screens will get even more for their ticket, receiving an additional sneak peek at ‘Doomsday’ on top of the standard preview shown across regular theaters. Infinity Vision represents a brand-new premium large format certification for theaters, designed to guarantee expansive screens, bright imagery and top-tier sound quality.
The re-release will play across standard theaters as well as IMAX and Infinity Vision screens, giving audiences multiple ways to revisit the film depending on their preferred moviegoing experience. It marks a notable format showcase for Disney as the studio continues rolling out Infinity Vision ahead of its bigger December release.
‘Avengers: Endgame’ remains one of the defining achievements of modern blockbuster filmmaking, having delivered the biggest opening weekend of all time upon release with a global haul of $1.2 billion. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film served as the emotional culmination of storylines spanning heroes like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the rest of the original Avengers lineup.
For longtime fans, the Encore presentation offers a chance to relive one of the genre’s most consequential theatrical events on the big screen once again. For younger viewers who may have only experienced the film at home, it’s an opportunity to finally witness the communal theatrical moment that helped turn ‘Endgame’ into a cultural phenomenon in the first place.
Tickets for ‘Avengers Endgame: Encore’ are already on sale ahead of the September 25 release, giving fans plenty of time to lock in their preferred format before the exclusive ‘Doomsday’ footage debuts alongside it.
