Apple TV’s Emmy-Winning Hive-Mind Drama Is Back on the Most-Watched Chart
Emmy night has a way of sending viewers straight back to the shows they heard about all year. The 78th Primetime Emmys took place on September 14, and this year’s ceremony produced a few big surprises. For one Emmy-winning sci-fi drama, the trophies have translated into a fresh wave of streaming attention.

Rhea Seehorn stars as Carol Sturka, a novelist who is among the last independent-thinking humans on Earth. Vince Gilligan created it, and his awards history had long been a running joke, since Better Call Saul went 0 for 53 at the Emmys.

The biggest moments came on the main stage. Seehorn won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, beating Carrie Coon, Chase Infiniti, Keri Russell and Zendaya, per Variety. Deadline reports that Gilligan also took home his first individual Emmy for writing, while his directing nomination lost to ‘Slow Horses.’
The chart itself is a showcase for Apple’s prestige lineup. ‘Ted Lasso’ holds No. 1 after 967 days, ‘Slow Horses’ is No. 2 and ‘Widow’s Bay’ takes No. 3. Both ‘Slow Horses’ and ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ were among this year’s Outstanding Drama Series nominees, according to the Television Academy, alongside ‘Pluribus’ itself.
