Autumn has become the season of streaming sticker shock, and the latest Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max bundle price increase is arriving right on schedule. Subscribers are already opening their inboxes to find out how much more they’ll pay.

It helps to remember what happened last year. Warner Bros. Discovery raised HBO Max prices effective October 21, 2025, pushing Basic With Ads to $10.99 a month, Standard to $18.49 and Premium to $22.99, marking the service’s third hike in three years. The bundle with Disney+ and Hulu went up by $3 at the same time, landing at $19.99 with ads and $32.99 without.

Now the bundle is climbing again. A subscriber on Reddit’s r/HBOMAX shared an email from HBO Max titled “Your subscription price is changing,” confirming that the Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle (No Ads) monthly plan is rising from $32.99 to $34.99. The subscriber noted that the new price starts October 21.

That date lines up with Disney’s guidance that existing subscribers will see new pricing in their billing cycle on or after October 21. Hulu’s bundle page now lists the no-ads package at $34.99 a month, which it says saves $26.48 compared with buying all three services separately. The version with ads is listed at $21.99, compared with $19.99 after last year’s hike.

Disney+ Just Got More Expensive Again, and Subscribers Are Feeling the Sticker Shock

The trigger is Disney’s own move. On September 23, the company rolled out higher prices across most Disney+ and Hulu plans, the fourth increase in as many years for the two services. Both ad-free Premium plans are climbing from $18.99 to $21.49 a month, a 13% jump.

The ad-supported standalone plans are rising by 50 cents to $12.49 each, and the ad-free Disney+ and Hulu bundle is up $2 to $21.99. The ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu bundle stays at $12.99, and MacRumors noted that it is the option Disney is steering customers toward. Bundles with ESPN or HBO Max are also $2 to $3 more expensive.

For people who subscribe to HBO Max on its own, CNN’s comparison still lists the Premium plan at $22.99 a month. So the latest bump lands mainly on those who pay for all three services through the bundle, and the email suggests the increase is being passed on through Disney’s pricing.

The bigger picture is that streaming inflation has risen about three times faster than the broader inflation rate since 2022, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Netflix’s premium plan remains the most expensive individual subscription at $26.99 a month, and Apple TV and Peacock both raised prices in August. Deadline noted that bundling is increasingly the industry’s answer, since it reduces churn.

Not everyone is happy about it. Some commenters on Deadline’s coverage said the latest round of increases was the final straw, pointing to the rising cost of ad-free plans. MacRumors calculated that Disney+’s no-ad price has risen more than 200% since its 2019 launch at $6.99 a month.

The Disney+, Hulu & HBO Max ad-free bundle is going up to $34.99. What are you doing?
