‘Hunger Games’ Star Jennifer Lawrence Serves Soft Blue Slip-Dress Glamour at Dior’s Latest Paris Fashion Week Show

Fashion Month always saves its most glamorous chapter for last, and this year is no exception. Paris Fashion Week has landed as the final leg of the season, with stars in town to sit front row at houses like Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Valentino and Chanel. Dior’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, presented by Jonathan Anderson, was one of the biggest days on the calendar.

Anderson’s presence has made Dior a star-studded event every season. He was named creative director in June 2025, following the departure of Maria Grazia Chiuri, and he is the first designer at Dior to oversee menswear, womenswear and couture. Guests at this show even received an intriguing invitation gift: 2 wénwán walnuts in a box, along with a personalized message.

One name is almost always on the front-row list. Jennifer Lawrence has been a Dior ambassador since 2012, and she became the face of the Joy by Dior perfume in 2018.

Jennifer Lawrence attended the Dior Summer 2027 women’s show. The photo shows her in a pale blue slip dress with delicate lace trim and a draped skirt. She wore dark sunglasses, kept her long, wavy hair down with bangs, and carried a small light-colored bag.

Marie Claire described the outfit as a cool blue nightgown-style dress. It stood out among the arrivals, since other guests went in very different directions. Greta Lee wore pink capri pants, Rosalía chose an asymmetrical black gown, and Anya Taylor-Joy paired a sheer shirt with a pencil skirt.

The look fits with a long pattern. Lawrence has approached Dior’s front row differently each season, and her outfits have swung from tailored to casual. At Dior’s Fall/Winter show in 2024, she wore a charcoal three-piece suit with sunglasses and a Lady Dior bag, and sunglasses have proven to be her favorite front-row accessory.

Her recent appearances show the same range. At Anderson’s womenswear debut in October 2025, she wore a blue button-down under a black vest with a beige trench. In January 2026, she attended his couture debut in a white tank top and jeans, which broke the usual Couture Week dress code. Compared with those, the soft blue slip dress is a more delicate take.

Lawrence has been a natural fit for Anderson’s new Dior. During the ‘Die, My Love’ press tour, she wore several Dior pieces, including looks from his Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection. ‘Die, My Love’ was directed by Lynne Ramsay and co-stars Robert Pattinson, following a couple who move to rural Montana after the birth of their first child.

The fashion has kept pace with her film work. Lawrence has worn Anderson-designed Dior to a number of events, including the ‘Die, My Love’ premiere in New York. For fans, the Paris show is another chapter in one of fashion’s longest-running star partnerships.

Anderson has also been busy this year. His Dior Men’s Spring 2027 show in June was moved to 9 a.m. because of a record-breaking heat wave, and he has been working to sync the men’s and women’s collections. His fringed jackets and crinkled checked raincoat echoed looks from the women’s cruise collection presented in Los Angeles.
