‘Modern Family’ Star Sofia Vergara (54) Shows Off Her Curves for Bvlgari
Sofia Vergara has never been shy about sharing her style with fans, and her feed lately reads like a travel-and-fashion diary. The actor spent the start of October in Paris, documenting her stay through a string of Instagram Stories.
Those posts included a lighthearted video from her hotel room joking about getting hungry, a candlelit dinner with friends and a mirror selfie in a pink-toned leopard-print Roberto Cavalli halterneck dress.
The dress featured an open back and a plunging keyhole cutout, and she paired it with a burgundy pouch, chunky gold bracelets and a glossy maroon manicure. Later, she shared a 3 a.m. snack run featuring trompe-l’oeil fruit and nut pastries by chef Cedric Grolet.
One hazelnut creation hid hazelnut spread, vanilla caramel, crunchy praline with sea salt and hazelnut milk mousse beneath a realistic exterior. Her beauty look that evening included pinkish-mauve lips, bronzed skin and defined eye makeup, with sleek, center-parted hair.
Now another Sofia Vergara photo is making the rounds, and this one is a promotion for Bulgari. Shared on her Instagram and circulating online on Oct. 3, the image shows her in an ornate black-and-gold patterned strapless dress with a sculpted neckline, finished with a snake-shaped pendant necklace. Her long, straight brunette hair falls over one shoulder, and she poses with a hand on her hip in a warmly lit room.
Her caption simply tags @bvlgari, followed by an orange heart and a French flag emoji, a nod that fits her recent Paris stay, though coverage has not specified where or when the photo was taken. Either way, the strapless silhouette remains her signature. Hola previously described a denim corset-style strapless look from January 2026 as proof that strapless is her go-to, and Reality Tea noted a bold strapless top during press appearances in February.
Fashion is only one part of her recent run. On Sept. 19, she was among the high-profile guests at the invitation-only opening night of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, where one photo captured her alongside Kerry Washington and Tyler Perry. Eva Longoria and Camila Cabello also attended the gala, which wrapped with a rooftop drone show and a surprise performance by the Black Eyed Peas.
Her personal life has also made it onto her feed. On Sept. 17, she marked her son Manolo’s birthday with a throwback post and a giant baklava, a sweet moment that fans embraced.
For all the glamour, Vergara’s career has plenty of weight behind it. She played Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on ‘Modern Family’ from 2009 to 2020 across 250 episodes, earning 4 Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series between 2010 and 2013, plus 5 Golden Globe nominations in the same category.
She later pivoted to drama with ‘Griselda’ in 2024, playing Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco in the Netflix miniseries. The performance earned her a historic Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series, making her the first Latina born in a Latin American country to land in that category. She lost to Jodie Foster.
Vergara has also stayed visible on television and in business. She joined ‘America’s Got Talent’ as a judge in Season 15 in 2020, and 2 of her golden buzzer picks went on to win the competition, Mayyas in 2022 and Jessica Sanchez in 2025. In 2024, she launched Dios Mio! Coffee, a brand focused on supporting female Colombian growers.
Her 2026 has included a mix of commercial and public-interest work. WWD reported that she starred in a playful Skechers ad for the 2026 Super Bowl, and in January she teamed up with Octavia Spencer for the Detect the SOS public health campaign aimed at raising awareness about kidney health.
She has also shown loyalty to her old castmates. In August 2025, she attended Free Shakespeare in the Park’s ‘Twelfth Night’ to support former ‘Modern Family’ co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays Andrew Aguecheek in the production.
Even setbacks have not dimmed her humor. When a severe eye allergy sent her to the emergency room on Sept. 15, 2025, she missed the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards but still joked about it on Instagram. It is that mix of candor and polish that keeps her social media posts so widely shared.
