Zendaya Remixes Her ‘The Odyssey’ Press Tour Jacket With Jeans for Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week Show
Zendaya has become one of the most reliable names on the Paris Fashion Week front row. An ambassador for Louis Vuitton since 2023, she has turned the brand’s shows into a recurring stage for hair changes, dramatic silhouettes and outfits that fans pick apart for days.
The pattern has held for several seasons. At the previous September show she wore a metallic mini blazer dress with shearling trim, and in March she arrived in a crisp white shirt dress with a high-low bubble skirt and a freshly cropped haircut.
This week, she took a different approach. For Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2027 show on Tuesday, Zendaya arrived in a dramatic white ruffled blazer with lace detailing, worn with a matching crop top, straight-leg blue jeans and pointed white heels. Photos of the outfit spread quickly online, and the Film Updates post sharing them passed 62,000 views within hours.

The jacket is the centerpiece. Layers of white ruffles frame her shoulders and arms, with a voluminous collar that rises around her neck, and the lace detail gives the piece a delicate quality that contrasts with its size. Against that, the faded denim and simple top keep the outfit grounded.
Her hair added to the effect. She wore it cropped short, in the style she has favored since a new haircut debuted at the March show, and the cut left the collar of the jacket as the focus. With her hands in her pockets and a calm expression, she gave the look a relaxed confidence that suited the casual-chic styling.

The most interesting detail came from W Magazine, which reported that the jacket is not new. The ivory lace piece was custom-made by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Paris stop of ‘The Odyssey’ press tour in July, where Zendaya paired it with a daring cut-out dress and pearlescent satin pumps.

This time she kept the jacket and the pointed heels but swapped the dress for street-style separates, a faded pair of jeans and a white tank top. The outlet noted that the quick turnaround was part of the appeal, since she completely redefined the piece in the process. It also noted that after four press tours this year, with a fifth on the way, a more laid-back approach to Paris Fashion Week makes sense.

Zendaya was not alone. Emma Stone made a statement in a plunging blue blazer at the same show, and Ana de Armas, Rhea Seehorn and Jennifer Connelly were also among the famous faces in attendance, according to the Press Association.
Coverage elsewhere singled out Zendaya’s pairing of an over-the-top lace top with very comfortable-looking low-rise jeans as one of the standout looks of the week. The contrast between formal and relaxed elements is what has made the outfit so talked-about, since few people would think to put a couture jacket with everyday denim.
