Meet the Cast of Apple TV’s ‘Nocturne’ (with Pictures)

Apple TV expands its psychological crime thriller catalog with ‘Nocturne‘, an adaptation inspired by the bestselling novels of Lars Kepler. The series follows a former homicide detective who is pulled back into active duty when a long-missing victim mysteriously reappears, pointing directly toward an incarcerated serial killer.

As law enforcement officers race against time to locate another captive, a high-stakes undercover assignment commences inside a maximum-security psychiatric facility. The crime drama features an ensemble cast portraying federal agents, local investigators, affected families, and dangerous inmates.

Liev Schreiber

Liev Schreiber stars as Jonah Lynn, a retired Philadelphia homicide detective seeking a peaceful life in western Pennsylvania. His quiet retirement is upended when an unsolved kidnapping case from his past resurfaces, forcing him to confront an incarcerated serial killer. In addition to starring in the series, Schreiber serves as an executive producer on ‘Nocturne’. The actor previously received multiple Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy nominations for portraying the title fixer in the drama series ‘Ray Donovan’.
