Rebel Wolves, a game studio from Poland, just showed off the first gameplay trailer for their new RPG called The Blood of Dawnwalker. The trailer was revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase.

Even though there’s no exact release date yet, the game is expected to come out sometime in 2026. It’ll be available on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.

The team behind this game includes some big names. Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who was the game director for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is leading the project.

He’s working with other developers who previously worked on The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. The game is being built using Unreal Engine 5, and Bandai Namco is the publisher.

From the trailer, the game seems to take place in a dark, creepy world full of monsters and vampire-style action. It has a strong medieval vibe, with lots of gloomy landscapes and tense fights. The developers describe it as a single-player fantasy RPG with a deep and mature story.

There’s a short line from the game that gives a feel for the kind of story players can expect. “Face your foes – be they human, monster, or the ticking clock itself. But remember – the real evil may bask in the sun’s light, and the most loyal of allies could lurk under the cover of night.”

This new game is the first title from Rebel Wolves. With such experienced developers behind it, especially from games like The Witcher 3, there’s a lot of hype around The Blood of Dawnwalker. The trailer doesn’t show everything, but it does give a good look at the game’s spooky atmosphere and intense combat.

All of this was first revealed by Rebel Wolves and shown at the Xbox Games Showcase, and the news comes from multiple gaming sources covering the event.
