Mysterious New ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ 7 Teaser Appears Online
A mysterious teaser video has just dropped online, and Call of Duty fans are buzzing. A new clip, possibly connected to the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, was uploaded today to the “Cordis Die” YouTube channel, a name longtime fans will remember from Black Ops 2. The video is only 14 seconds long, but it’s already causing a lot of hype.
The short video is called “The Lesson”. It shows a man watching a bunch of security monitors, with one line of dialogue: “2025 was just the beginning. A necessary first step. Once again, you shall know fear.”
In the background, there’s what looks like smoke near the Eiffel Tower, and other signs of chaos. It’s dark and intense, exactly the kind of vibe you’d expect from a Black Ops game.
This isn’t just some random fan video. According to the popular gaming news account @ModernWarzone on X, this clip is real and not fan-made. That makes things even more interesting. What’s also strange is that the Cordis Die channel hasn’t posted anything new since Black Ops 2, until now. Back then, that channel was used in the game’s story and even for some real-world promotions. So seeing it active again is a big deal.
BREAKING: Black Ops 7 teaser video "The Lesson" was just uploaded to the Cordis Die Youtube Channel. Can confirm this is legit and not fan made.

People have been guessing that something big would happen around June 20th. That’s because in Black Ops 2, June 19th, 2025 is called “Judgement Day” in the game’s storyline. The next day, a video appears in the game’s lore—possibly setting up future events that the games never followed up on. Until now.
While Activision hasn’t officially posted anything about the new teaser, many fans believe this is the beginning of the full reveal for Black Ops 7. A previous teaser already confirmed the new game will connect to Black Ops 2, so this new clip fits perfectly with that direction.
Some leaks even claim that GameStop already has posters showing a June 20th pre-order date for the new game, although nothing official has been announced yet. So there’s a good chance we’ll get more news very soon.
Right now, fans are waiting to see what this all means. But if this teaser is any sign of what’s to come, Black Ops 7 is about to dig deep into the storyline fans have been waiting years to revisit.
