Disney is gearing up for a huge year, and they just dropped a brand-new preview of all the exciting content coming to Disney+ and Hulu in 2025. The lineup covers just about every genre, sci-fi, drama, comedy, superheroes, musicals, you name it. Whether you like animated movies, serious dramas, or something spooky, Disney has something on the way for you.

One of the shows getting a lot of buzz is Chad Powers. It’s a comedy series created by Glen Powell and Michael Waldron. Powell also stars in the lead role. The cast is packed with familiar faces like Steve Zahn, Toby Huss, and Perry Mattfeld. This one is landing on Disney+ on September 30, 2025. It looks like it’s going to bring some goofy energy to the platform, which fans of laid-back comedies will probably enjoy.

For fans of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the wait is almost over. The second season of the fantasy series is coming in December 2025, based on The Sea of Monsters, the second book in Rick Riordan’s popular series. And it doesn’t stop there. Disney has already confirmed a third season, which will cover The Titan’s Curse. The renewals were officially announced in 2024 and 2025, and fans are definitely excited to see more of this world.

If sci-fi and horror are more your thing, Alien: Earth might be right up your alley. It’s a new prequel series to the classic Alien films, created by Noah Hawley. The story is set two years before the original 1979 movie. Sydney Chandler stars as Wendy, a character who’s part human and part robot. FX, which is airing the show, says it premieres on August 12, 2025, and it’ll be available on Hulu too. The cast also includes Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, and Essie Davis. FX described it as a story where “a crash landing leads a group of survivors to face a massive threat on Earth.”

Over on Hulu, there’s more drama coming. The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox will explore the real-life case that grabbed headlines all over the world. It’s coming out in August 2025 and aims to dig into how things got so complicated and chaotic during the original investigation.

Also dropping on Hulu in fall 2025 is All’s Fair, a new legal drama from Ryan Murphy. This one has a pretty stacked cast with Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor, and Glenn Close. Kardashian plays Allura Grant, a character who’s right in the middle of all the courtroom action. It’s one of her biggest roles yet and is expected to show a different side of her.

Old favorites are coming back too. King of the Hill is returning with a new season, and it’s set to premiere on August 4, 2025. Hulu announced that the revival will stream both on Hulu and Disney+, which is good news for longtime fans of the series.

Marvel fans have something to get excited about as well. Wonder Man is a new miniseries that’s part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man. The series is also bringing in Ben Kingsley and Ed Harris. The production hit a pause during the writers’ strike in 2023 but was completed by April 2024. It’s releasing in December 2025 under the Marvel Spotlight label, which is for standalone stories that don’t need to be tied into the bigger Marvel storyline.

There’s also more mystery and laughs coming in Only Murders in the Building, which is returning for Season 5. Fans can expect more strange clues, wild twists, and funny moments as the story continues.

And if you’re into musicals and vampires, there’s Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, coming to Disney Channel on July 10, 2025, and Disney+ the next day. It’s the fourth movie in the Zombies series and brings back Zed, Addison, and the rest of the crew—along with some new vampire characters to shake things up.

All this content shows that Disney is really going all out in 2025. They’re throwing in everything from superheroes to courtroom showdowns to musical vampires. Whether you’re watching on Disney+ or Hulu, there’s going to be no shortage of stuff to binge. It’s shaping up to be a massive year for fans of all kinds.
