The Marvel universe on screen is vast, spanning dozens of movies and television shows. With so many stories being told, it’s not surprising that some actors have appeared in more than one role. These multiple appearances happen for various reasons. Sometimes, an actor plays a small part before landing a much bigger role in a later project. In other cases, actors have portrayed characters in Marvel films made by different studios before the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) became the dominant force it is today.

This list explores 50 actors who have taken on more than one character in the world of Marvel. You’ll find famous examples of actors who played one hero before becoming another, as well as performers who lent their talents to both live-action and voice roles. From major stars to character actors, these individuals have left their mark on the Marvel landscape in more ways than one. This list highlights their varied contributions to the ever-expanding tapestry of Marvel storytelling.

This opened the door for her to take on a leading role in Eternals (2021). In this film, Chan played Sersi, an empathetic member of the immortal group of heroes. Sersi is a key protagonist, and Chan’s performance established her as a new and important hero in the ongoing MCU narrative.
