The film made an estimated $10.6 million from Thursday night previews, beating Five Nights at Freddy’s record for a video game adaptation and boosting weekend projections to $80–100 million.

After earning $58 million on its first day, estimates were raised to $135–150 million. It ultimately debuted with $162.8 million in the U.S. and $313 million worldwide during its opening weekend, surpassing The Super Mario Bros. Movie for the biggest video game movie opening domestically.

Despite mixed reviews, it was a huge box office hit, grossing $955 million worldwide on a $150 million budget. It became the third-highest-grossing film of 2025 and the second-highest-grossing video game movie ever, with a sequel already in development.
