Get ready for a spooky and hilarious new show! “Haunted Hotel,” an animated comedy series, is hitting Netflix on September 19 with a 10-episode first season. The show comes from Matt Roller, a writer known for “Rick and Morty,” “Community,” and “The Goldbergs.”

According to Netflix’s recent press release, this paranormal comedy is packed with laughs and creepy vibes, perfect for fans of adult animation. The story follows a single mom with two kids who’s trying to keep her haunted hotel running. Things get tricky when her estranged brother, now a ghost haunting the place, shows up to help.

He’s convinced the other ghosts have some great ideas for the hotel. It’s a wild mix of family drama, spooky shenanigans, and plenty of humor.

The voice cast is stacked with talent. Will Forte from “Saturday Night Live” and Eliza Coupe from “Happy Endings” lead the pack, joined by Skyler Gisondo of “The Righteous Gemstones,” Natalie Palamides from “The Powerpuff Girls,” and Jimmi Simpson from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”

Their voices bring the quirky characters of the haunted Undervale hotel to life. The animation is handled by Titmouse, the studio behind hits like “Big Mouth” and “The Venture Bros.” Matt Roller is the showrunner, with Erica Hayes, who worked on “Rick and Morty” and “Carol & the End of the World,” as the supervising director.

Roller is also an executive producer, alongside Chris McKenna, known for Spider-Man: No Way Home and “Community,” Dan Harmon of “Rick and Morty” fame, and Steve Levy, another “Rick and Morty” and “Community” alum.

Roller shared his excitement, saying, “I can’t wait for everyone to meet the Freeling family and see how they tackle nightmare guests and ghosts in our beautifully animated hotel. This is a show for fans of comedy, horror, horror comedy, families, hotels, cults, monsters with tentacles, monsters without tentacles, werewolves, and blenders.”

Haunted Hotel” promises a fresh take on adult animation with its mix of spooky and silly. Mark your calendars for September 19 to check into the Undervale for some ghostly fun.
