[Trailer] First Look at ‘Record of Ragnarok III’ Teases Epic Final Clash
Netflix gave fans an early look at Record of Ragnarok Season 3. During Anime NYC 2025, releasing a new trailer for the upcoming season. After a two-year break, viewers are ready to jump back into the epic battles between gods and historical heroes. The new season is set to premiere this December.

Netflix is calling it Record of Ragnarok III. The trailer starts with the Valkyries entering the battlefield and quickly introduces all the main fighters, setting the stage for the high-stakes action.
Just like before, the season features famous historical and mythological figures, including Nikola Tesla (voiced by Makoto Furukawa), King Leonidas (Hiroshi Shirokuma), Hades (Ryotaro Okiayu), and Beelzebub (Daisuke Namikawa).
The trailer shows that this season will be the final battle to decide humanity’s fate. Even though the gods are extremely powerful, humans still have a chance.
Fighters like Tesla and Leonidas will use their intelligence and strategy to fight in ways the gods never expect. The rules are the same: 13 contenders from each side battle it out, and whichever group reaches seven wins first will rule the world for 1,000 years.
In March 2025, Netflix confirmed that the series was renewed for a third season. The staff has changed this time around. Animation is handled by Yumeta Company and Maru Animation. Koichi Hatsumi directs, Yasuyuki Mutō serves as the main writer, and Yōko Tanabe and Hisashi Kawashima are the new character designers. Yasuharu Takanashi returns to compose the music.
Fans can look forward to the intense fights and clever strategies that made the series a hit when Record of Ragnarok III premieres in December 2025.
