Exciting news for Alien fans! Developer Survios has just announced Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition for the PS5. This new version of the game no longer requires PSVR2, making it accessible to more players. The game will be available from September 30, 2025.

Originally a VR action horror game, Alien: Rogue Incursion told a thrilling new story set in the iconic sci-fi universe.

Now, with the Evolved Edition, players can enjoy the game on their TV without needing any VR gear. According to Survios, this version will feature deadlier Xenomorphs and improved visuals, offering a fresh experience even for those who played the original.

The game will be available in two versions: the Standard Edition for $29.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition for $39.99. You can wishlist the game on the PS Store now.

Survios’ Chief Product Officer, TQ Jefferson, expressed the team’s excitement about the new edition, saying, ““As a team that truly loves Alien, we’re incredibly proud of the immersive original story we’ve told with Alien: Rogue Incursion. Following our great start on VR platforms, we’re excited to bring the Evolved Edition to PC and PS5 later this year so that fans of Alien can experience Zula’s journey wherever they prefer to play.

There’s also a hint that this might not be the end of the story. The full title of the game is Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition, suggesting that a Part Two could be on the way.

An announcement trailer has been released, giving a glimpse of the enhanced graphics and intense action. Fans are eager to see how the non-VR version will compare to the original.
