‘All American’ Season 8 Episode 10 Recap & Ending Explained: Cassius Makes Jordan an Offer He May Not Be Able to Refuse

The CW’s long-running football drama has spent its final season slowing down, trading big Beverly-versus-Crenshaw showdowns for something far more intimate. As ‘All American‘ counts down its last handful of episodes, the show has increasingly centered on the messy, complicated bonds holding its characters together rather than the sport that originally brought them there.

That shift has been especially pronounced in the back half of Season 8, where the series has structured each episode around a specific character’s emotional reckoning rather than a traditional plot-driven storyline. Episode 10, titled “All That I Got Is You,” continues that pattern by putting Cassius Jeremy front and center as he’s forced to choose between two families pulling him in opposite directions.

The episode opens with Layla arriving at the hospital to comfort Jordan while checking on Olivia, who remains in pre-term labor. Over at Beverly High, KJ is left holding things together on his own, and when his mother Ava shows up, he confides that he doesn’t trust Cliff Mosley, setting up tension that will carry through the rest of the hour.

Things escalate at the hospital when Jordan learns, seemingly for the first time, that Layla has received an offer from Roc Nation to buy her record label. He’s visibly hurt that she kept the news from him, and the resulting tension only grows once Coop arrives and senses she’s walked into something she wasn’t meant to see.

That interruption sends Coop back to the Baker house, where she searches for Olivia’s hotel room key hoping it will lead her to information about Spencer’s whereabouts, one of the season’s lingering mysteries. Coop eventually gets a break when Spencer’s manager texts her his location, though by the time she arrives on set and pushes past resistant security, Spencer has already left for the day. She later comes up with an unconventional plan to try reaching him anyway.

Meanwhile, Cassius steps up in a major way, dropping off a bag for Olivia at the hospital and catching Jordan just as he faints in the lobby. After dodging calls from his wife Ava, she finally tracks him down and presses him about missing their dinner date, questioning whether he’s changed his mind about reuniting their family. The two share a quiet moment revisiting their history and reaffirming the love that’s clearly still there between them.

Back at the Baker house, Khalil faces his own reckoning when Miranda shows up before he can leave for the showcase. He admits their relationship was rooted in his unresolved abandonment issues surrounding his mother, and ultimately decides to end things so he can focus on his family and football.

Cassius continues to grow into his role as the episode progresses, giving Jordan a pointed cousin-to-cousin talk about squashing his tension with Layla given everything happening with Olivia. He also finally confronts Cliff Mosley directly, putting his foot down in a moment that signals real character growth for someone who spent much of the season caught between his father’s shadow and Cliff’s influence. By the episode’s end, Cassius and Ava officially reconcile, reuniting their family just before Cassius makes Jordan a proposition he might not be able to turn down.

With football itself taking a back seat once again this episode, ‘All American’ continues leaning into its central theme that family, in all its complicated forms, remains the show’s true throughline as it heads toward its series finale.
