Amazon Is Adapting G.T. Karber’s ‘Murdle’ Puzzle Into a TV Series

Back in 2022, G.T. Karber created the first-ever Murdle. It is a very interesting puzzle mystery game in printed format that you can enjoy over and over. Since then, several versions (or editions) of the popular game have been released and it seems that the concept is expanding.

As confirmed, Amazon is working on an adaptation of Murdle in the form of a TV series. It will definitely be interesting to see how such a game is ultimately adapted, which is why we’re bringing you the details.

As reported, the series will be a scripted-adaptation written by Paddington‘s Jon Croker and it will be set in London. It will follow two amateur sleuths from two rival detective clubs in the British capital as they are forced to work together to solve complex murder mysteries.

It seems that the adaptation will preserve the game-based spirit of the original puzzle, as the series will be voice- and not action-driven. On top of that, it will be a blend of humor and mystery, so if you’re down for a less serious approach to the genre, Murdle might just be the thing for you.

No further details have been revealed, but it has been confirmed that the series will be based on one of the five editions of the original puzzle.
