‘American Horror Story’ Season 13 Officially Titled ’13’, First Look Poster and Premiere Date Revealed
Fans of Ryan Murphy’s long running horror anthology have been waiting months for concrete details about the next chapter, and the wait is finally over. The franchise that redefined anthology horror on television is gearing up for a milestone run, and the buzz around its return has only intensified as summer convention season kicks off.

The new season is officially titled American Horror Story 13, and it is set to premiere Thursday, September 24 at 9 p.m. eastern time. Season 13 is shaping up to be a true all star reunion, bringing back Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman. Lange returns as Constance Langdon for the first time since ‘Apocalypse’, with Murphy confirming her comeback through a first look photo showing her standing at the window of the Murder House. Paulson is also back as Cordelia Goode, with Murphy revealing that the production rebuilt the entire Robichaux Academy set for her return.
Ariana Grande was previously announced as a franchise newcomer joining the cast for the first time. Baltimore filmmaker John Waters also joined the cast, announcing his involvement during a live show, saying he had a big new part in ‘American Horror Story’ but could not reveal details.
FX has described Season 13 as an unrivaled installment meant to do justice to everyone’s most feared number, with the anthology having been streamed more than 700 million hours worldwide across its run. Fans have speculated that the reunion of so many ‘Coven’ era stars hints the story could revisit threads from that beloved 2013 season. Star Evan Peters has reportedly described the upcoming run as a greatest hits season for the franchise.
Ahead of the premiere, the show plans a scary splash at San Diego Comic Con with a ’13 Flavors’ activation featuring AHS themed ice cream trucks inspired by past seasons.
