Ana de Armas Seen Getting Cozy with Jacob Elordi at 2026 Golden Globes After Breaking Up with Tom Cruise
Ana de Armas was seen getting close to Jacob Elordi at the 2026 Golden Globes, just three months after her split from Tom Cruise, RadarOnline.com reports.
The pair, who starred together in the 2022 thriller Deep Water, were spotted holding hands and laughing as they chatted at the Beverly Hilton. De Armas, 37, appeared happy, while Elordi, 28, lightly touched her arm during the interaction.
The outing comes after the Knives Out star ended her nine-month relationship with Cruise in October. The former couple had first been linked in February 2025 and were publicly seen together on multiple occasions, including a July getaway to Vermont.
Sources said that de Armas ended things because she felt suffocated by Cruise’s controlling behavior.
An insider said, “Ana’s friends aren’t shocked they didn’t last. She got swept up in the excitement of dating a huge movie star, but they could see from the start that the dynamic was totally off-balance. Tom was constantly micromanaging her, telling her how to handle everything from her image to her workouts to her career choices. At first, she was flattered, but eventually she felt suffocated. She asked for space and Tom took it hard. Things kind of snowballed from there.”
Despite the breakup, Cruise reportedly still hopes to work with de Armas professionally, though friends say he needs time to recover emotionally. Cruise, 63, has been married three times before, to Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, and Katie Holmes.
Elordi, meanwhile, recently ended his on-and-off relationship with Olivia Jade, daughter of Lori Loughlin. Their romance, which began in 2021, officially ended in October 2025.
Reflecting on his work with de Armas, Elordi said that the two co-stars were “wonderful performers and they’ve really earned their stripes.”
This Golden Globes moment hints that de Armas and Elordi may be close, though it’s unclear if anything beyond friendship is happening.
