Ana de Armas Stuns in ‘Ballerina’ Exclusive Footage at CinemaCon with Intense John Wick-Style Action!

Ballerina is an upcoming action thriller set in the world of John Wick. The movie follows a skilled assassin, played by Ana de Armas, as she fights her way through a dangerous mission. It takes place between John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4.

Directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten, Ballerina features a strong cast, including Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus. Fans will also see familiar faces like Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, Keanu Reeves, and the late Lance Reddick in his final role.

Filming began in Prague, Czech Republic, with extra action scenes added in early 2024. The movie is set to hit theaters on June 6, 2025.

During Lionsgate’s CinemaCon presentation this year, exclusive footage was shown to the attendees. As per Discussing Film, the clip starts like a regular trailer, showing Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) as part of the Ruska Roma crime syndicate.

It hints that she is reaching a turning point in her life as an assassin. John Wick (Keanu Reeves) makes an appearance, along with familiar faces like Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, and the late Lance Reddick.

Then, the trailer shifts into a full action scene. Eve is inside a lodge when the guests suddenly leave. A dangerous man in a suit walks in, and a fight begins.

The action is intense, just like in the John Wick movies. Eve wraps her legs around the man’s neck, but he slams her onto a table. The audience reacted loudly when she finally breaks his arm and shoots him in the head.

But the fight isn’t over. A female worker at the lodge attacks Eve next. Their battle is rough and full of creative moves, including smashing plates over each other’s heads. The footage ends with more traditional trailer moments, showing that John Wick will be an enemy to Eve, sent to hunt her down.

However, he still gives her the chance to walk away from the assassin life. The footage promises everything John Wick fans love—fast action, intense fights, and a gripping story.
