Grande shared a series of slides that encouraged her followers to contact their U.S. senators. The posts included a ready-made phone script meant to help callers clearly explain their concerns. The message focused on recent deadly encounters involving federal agents, including shootings in Minneapolis that have drawn national attention.

Along with urging fans to call lawmakers, Grande also shared information tied to real-time response efforts. She posted details for a New York City deportation defense hotline and asked people to report ICE activity if they witnessed it. One slide instructed followers to safely gather information, saying, Snap a picture or call or text in, while stressing the importance of sharing clear details.

The Instagram posts came after widespread anger over the death of Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse who was killed by federal agents in Minnesota over the weekend, according to news reports. The incident followed another fatal shooting involving Renee Nicole Good earlier this year. Together, the cases have fueled protests and the growing ICE Out movement across social media.

Grande has been vocal about immigration issues before and has frequently criticized the current administration. In late 2025, she drew headlines for an Instagram post calling out the behavior of President Trump’s supporters.
