The buildup to Marvel Studios’ most ambitious ensemble film in years has entered a new phase, and this time the reveals are coming straight from the toy aisle. The first wave of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ action figures has leaked online, revealing new looks at Doctor Doom, Captain America, Thor, The Thing, the Human Torch, and the X-Men’s Beast. For fans who have been starved of official footage, these figures are as close to a character confirmation as it gets.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is the thirty-ninth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a direct installment of Phase Six, serving as a sequel to a long list of MCU titles from ‘Avengers: Endgame’ through to ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps.’ The scale of the production has been matched only by the secrecy surrounding it, making any visual glimpse at the characters a genuine event for the fanbase.

The leaked Hasbro figures, first shared by @idlehandsblog and @AvengersUpdated on social media, pack in a surprising number of design details. The Hasbro Titan Series Doctor Doom figure features a green hooded cloak, silver metallic armor with a segmented chest plate and gauntlets, a stern silver mask, and black armored boots, offering a full-body look at the character in his classic comic-inspired costume.

The figure also includes red energy blast accessories, hinting at the kind of power Robert Downey Jr.’s Victor Von Doom will wield on screen. Thor’s figure shows the God of Thunder in a dark armored suit with a red cape, a glowing yellow helmet, and both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker, surrounded by crackling lightning effects.

Sam Wilson will be wearing a slightly bluer version of the costume he had in last year’s ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ with Marvel Studios moving away from the distinctive white design featured in the comics and ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ for a version more in line with what Steve Rogers once wore.

The second wave of leaked figures rounds out the crossover credentials of the film considerably, with packaging images revealing ‘Marvel’s Thing,’ ‘Human Torch,’ and ‘Marvel’s Beast’ branded figures. The figures offer fans an early glimpse at the characters’ designs for Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s The Thing, Joseph Quinn’s Human Torch, and Kelsey Grammer’s Beast ahead of the film’s release.

The inclusion of Beast on the packaging is particularly notable given what it signals about the scope of the story. The film is positioned as a massive multiverse conflict where heroes from Earth-616, the Fantastic Four’s universe, and the X-Men universe come together to face Doctor Doom, with the ensemble including Avengers, Wakandans, New Avengers, Fantastic Four members, and X-Men characters all sharing the same storyline for the first time. Seeing Beast on retail packaging alongside Fantastic Four members and core Avengers makes that crossover feel that much more real.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to arrive in theaters on December 18, with both films directed by the returning Russo brothers, who also helmed ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ Its sequel, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars,’ is positioned for December 17, 2027. A full trailer has yet to drop, though the Russo brothers have been actively teasing its arrival, with fans growing increasingly eager after four short teasers have so far been the only official footage.

With toys now surfacing across social media and design details leaking ahead of any official marketing, the question of whether Marvel can keep its biggest secrets until the first real trailer drops is becoming harder to answer by the day. Which of these character reveals from the leaked figures are you most excited about, and does seeing Kelsey Grammer’s Beast officially on an ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ package make you more confident that the X-Men crossover will get the screen time it deserves?
