The wait for the first public ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘ trailer is almost over. According to a report shared by Earth 616 and sourced from insider @Nomoremutants22, the trailer will premiere exclusively at Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con before becoming available on YouTube approximately one hour later, meaning that for the first time, the wider world will be able to watch what audiences at CinemaCon 2026 already witnessed months ago.

Marvel Studios is confirmed to be returning to Hall H this year to focus entirely on ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ production. The Wrap reported that the studio’s panel is set for July 25, making that the date most fans and analysts are circling for the trailer debut.

Official Doomsday banners have already been photographed hanging on lampposts in the Gaslamp district adjacent to the convention center, an unmistakable signal that the studio is treating this as its flagship promotional moment of the summer.

The decision to release the trailer online just one hour after the Hall H presentation is a significant departure from how Marvel typically handles convention exclusives. In the past, footage shown at SDCC has sometimes taken days or even weeks to find its way online. The quick turnaround reflects how the studio has read the room after months of fans watching the CinemaCon trailer footage through secondhand descriptions rather than actual footage, a situation that generated enormous buzz but also considerable frustration.

The CinemaCon trailer, which screened exclusively to theater owners in April, was never officially released online, though detailed footage breakdowns spread rapidly in the days following the event. Multiple insiders, including Cosmic Circus’ Alex Perez, had projected as far back as August 2025 that the first public trailer would arrive in July around the Hall H panel. Insider Cryptic Quality HD had separately corroborated that timeline months earlier. Both sources are now lining up with what @Nomoremutants22 is reporting about the release strategy.

The scale of what the trailer is expected to cover gives the launch additional weight. The CinemaCon footage reportedly showed Doctor Doom, the X-Men, and Sentinel sequences that left audiences stunned. With a Hasbro Marvel Legends figure of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man rumored to be unveiled at SDCC alongside the trailer, the event is shaping up to be one of the most significant single moments in Marvel’s marketing history since the 2024 SDCC announcement when Robert Downey Jr. walked out as Doctor Doom.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely, with Robert Downey Jr. leading an ensemble that includes the original Avengers, the Fox-era X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and the Thunderbolts. It opens in theaters on December 18. If the trailer lands as expected on July 25, it will then be available to audiences worldwide just one hour later, which means the conversation that has been building for months is about to get considerably louder.
