This New ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ LEGO Set Confirms the Sentinel Battle at the X-Mansion Is Going to Be Epic
A new LEGO set tied to ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘ has just confirmed one of the film’s most anticipated sequences in brick form. The set, numbered 76347 and titled Sentinel Battle, features the X-Mansion as its setting and includes minifigures for Doctor Doom, Thor, Mystique, Mr. Fantastic, Magneto, and Nightcrawler, as shared by Avengers Updates and sourced from The Unibricks on Instagram. It releases in October, just ahead of the film’s December theatrical debut.
The set comes in at 433 pieces and is priced at $59.99. The display base includes a damaged Sentinel head alongside an X-Mansion sign, and a brick-built Sentinel forms the centerpiece of the build itself. For MCU fans, the character lineup alone functions as a meaningful spoiler, placing Doctor Doom directly in the X-Mansion conflict alongside some of the Fox-era X-Men and members of the Fantastic Four.
LEGO sets have a long track record of inadvertently revealing plot details months before a Marvel film arrives in theaters, and this one is no different. Set photos from the ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ production, which surfaced as far back as May 2025, showed large-scale Sentinel body parts on location, covered partially by tarps to allow for later visual effects additions. Those images confirmed a Sentinel battle was happening somewhere in the film but left the specific location unclear. The LEGO packaging now identifies the X-Mansion explicitly as the scene of that confrontation.
The X-Men cast confirmed for ‘Doomsday’ includes Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, James Marsden as Cyclops, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, and Channing Tatum as Gambit. The fact that both Mystique and Nightcrawler appear as minifigures in this Sentinel Battle set, alongside Doctor Doom and Mr. Fantastic, suggests the X-Mansion sequence will be one of the film’s more densely populated action scenes.
Sentinels are among the most iconic threats in X-Men mythology, having appeared in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past,’ ‘X-Men: Apocalypse,’ and most recently in ‘X-Men ’97,’ the animated continuation that reunited many of the original voice cast. Their inclusion in a live-action Avengers film alongside the returning Fox-era cast is the kind of crossover moment the fandom has been speculating about since ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ first opened the multiversal door.
How excited are you for Avengers: Doomsday?
‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ directed by the Russo brothers and written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely, is set to open in theaters on December 18 with a cast that spans the original Avengers, the Thunderbolts, the Fantastic Four, the Fox-era X-Men, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. The LEGO set drops in October, giving fans a month and a half of Sentinel Battle context before the film itself answers all remaining questions.
