Barbie Ferreira caught everyone’s eye at the 98th Academy Awards on March 15 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The actress, best known for her role on Euphoria, wore a bright blue corset dress that really stood out. She completed the look with bold gold jewelry, making a statement on the red carpet.

In her farewell message, she wrote, “After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character, Kat, I’m having to say a very teary-eyed goodbye.” Since leaving Euphoria, Ferreira has stayed busy with movies.
She starred in the 2024 horror-thriller House of Spoils with Ariana DeBose, playing a sous-chef in a haunted restaurant. She is also set to appear in the psychological drama Faces of Death, a new version of the 1978 cult film, alongside Dacre Montgomery and Josie Totah.
Another upcoming film, The Young King, is an indie comedy set in the 1990s Las Vegas drag scene. Ferreira stars with Michael Shannon and Kiersey Clemons. Ferreira has said she’s proud of these new roles and is looking for projects that challenge her.
