‘Baywatch’ Star Livvy Dunne Keeps the Birthday Celebration Going With New Bahamas Photos
For Livvy Dunne, October 1 has become a social media tradition. Every year, fans expect a fresh round of celebratory posts from the former LSU gymnast, and this year the party stretched well beyond the big day.
The celebration also marked a milestone, as Dunne turned 24 on October 1. She spent it in the Bahamas with her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, and her parents also joined the trip.
Days later, she is still sharing the memories. On October 6, Dunne posted a new set of photos on Instagram from the getaway, including one image labeled as her best birthday trip, according to Fiction Horizon.
The trip started with a birthday carousel that showed turquoise water and an oceanview pool. In it, she wears a birthday headband, holds a drink and floats alongside oversized pink balloons shaped like 24, and in one photo Skenes holds her at the edge of the pool.
She captioned the post with a joke about being washed up at 24, a playful nod to her years as an elite gymnast. On her Instagram Stories, she described the whole trip as a birthday bender.

Dunne flew to the Bahamas on a private flight. The new photos continue that story, with a beach shot at dusk framed by palm trees and a lineup of kayaks and paddleboards. One Stories post shows the trio on stand-up paddleboards, while another shows Skenes teasing her with her birthday cake.
Friends were quick to weigh in on the first carousel. Haley Cavinder wrote a birthday message, as did Olivia Ponton, who is dating Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

The getaway comes at a convenient moment for the couple. Skenes’ 2026 season ended last month; he used the time off to celebrate Dunne’s birthday in the Bahamas.
Skenes marked the day with his own Instagram post, sharing four photos of Dunne with a birthday message. The two have a history of birthday gestures. Last year he surprised her on her 23rd with balloons, a cake and white roses, and in May she returned the favor with throwback photos for his birthday.
Their story began at LSU, where both were student-athletes. Skenes pitched for the baseball team and Dunne competed for the gymnastics team, and the relationship started on campus.

Dunne’s life looks quite different from her college days. She announced her retirement from gymnastics on April 17, 2025, after five years with the Tigers, a stretch that included the 2024 national championship team.
Since then, she has focused on modeling, branding, content creation and acting. She appeared in the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, and she was cast in March in a recurring role on Fox’s ‘Baywatch’ reboot.
At the Fox Upfront presentation in New York in May, Dunne appeared alongside co-star Brooks Nader to promote the project. She said Skenes fully supported her decision to take on acting, and that her gymnastics training helped her stay calm in high-pressure situations on set.
Her online reach remains enormous. By February 2023 she was the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media, and Wikipedia now lists her total following at over 10 million, with 7.9 million on Instagram as of January.
Even with a growing entertainment career, she has not fully left the sport behind. In April, Dunne posted videos from LSU’s gymnastics training facility showing off her skills with a caption that read “So back,” and she returned to campus earlier this year for her first alumni meet.
For now, though, the focus is on sun, sand and celebrating another year. With her new photos still rolling out, the birthday trip has clearly become one of her most talked-about posts of the season.
