Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Missing From Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding Sparks Questions

Questions continue to surround whether Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebration, as the couple was not seen at any of the public events linked to the festivities.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lively and Reynolds were noticeably absent from the celebrity-filled celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City. While many famous guests were photographed arriving over the course of the multi-day event, the couple did not appear in photos, videos, or social media posts shared from outside the venue.

Instead, TMZ published photos showing Lively and Reynolds in Lake Placid, New York, on Thursday, where they were attending one of their daughter’s horse shows. The outing reportedly took place on the same day Swift and Kelce were believed to be hosting a rehearsal dinner before the main celebration.

The Hollywood Reporter said it contacted representatives for both Lively and Reynolds to ask whether they attended the wedding or had been invited, but no response was reported. Because the event reportedly had a strict no-phone policy, very little information from inside the venue became public immediately after the ceremony.

Their absence has attracted attention because of Lively’s long friendship with Swift. The two have spent time together over the years, appeared at public events together, and have often been seen in New York City. Lively and Reynolds have also shared a close personal connection with the singer, who is the godmother of their children. Swift even referenced the couple’s children in some of her songs.

However, the friendship came under public attention during the ongoing legal dispute surrounding the film It Ends With Us. Swift’s name appeared in court filings after Blake Lively said the singer could have knowledge of discussions related to the production. Justin Baldoni also alleged that both Swift and Reynolds supported Lively during disagreements over script changes.

Earlier this year, private text messages between Swift and Lively were unsealed during the legal proceedings. In one message, Lively checked on her longtime friend and admitted she had been worried about their relationship. “Hey, just checking in. I have no reason to ask… is everything OK?… I always want the opportunity to be a better friend if there’s something I unintentionally did.”

Swift replied honestly, explaining that she had noticed a change in the way they communicated.

“No you’re not wrong, but it’s also not a big deal. I think I’m just exhausted in every avenue of my life… I just kinda miss my funny, dark, normal-speaking friend who talks to me as herself… Just come back please.” The messages suggested there had been some distance between the two friends, although they also showed they were openly discussing their feelings.

More recently, reports claimed that Swift and Lively had been working on repairing their friendship following the legal drama. Even so, the reported wedding celebration has sparked fresh speculation because Lively and Reynolds were not seen among the guests.

At this point, there has been no confirmation that the couple was invited or that they intentionally skipped the event. Their absence alone does not reveal what happened behind the scenes. Still, because of the recent attention surrounding their friendship and the legal case, many fans have continued to wonder whether the relationship has fully recovered.

For now, neither Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Swift, nor Travis Kelce has publicly addressed the speculation. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, questions remain, but no official explanation has been given.
