Brad Pitt’s Girlfriend Ines de Ramon Steals the Spotlight at ‘Heart of the Beast’ Premiere as His Camo Suit Gets Fans Talking
Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon have spent the past couple of years steadily building their public relationship one red carpet at a time, from Venice Film Festival debuts to European premieres in London. Their appearances together have become a familiar rhythm on the awards and premiere circuit, each one offering fans another glimpse into a romance that’s largely stayed low-key outside of these curated moments.
That pattern continued on Wednesday, September 16, when the couple attended the global premiere of Pitt’s new film at the FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin, Tennessee. Pitt, 62, and de Ramon, 33, held hands throughout the evening, offering fans another clear look at a relationship that’s grown increasingly public over time.
The timing of their appearance carries extra weight this week. Their joint red carpet moment came just days after news broke that Pitt’s eldest son, Maddox Jolie, had officially and completely removed his father’s surname from his legal name, closing out a personal chapter that’s been building for years.

For the premiere itself, Pitt leaned fully into the film’s outdoor survival setting, wearing a camouflage-print suit with relaxed trousers and an olive-green T-shirt, finished with tinted aviator glasses, a gold chain, and worn leather boots. De Ramon took the opposite approach, choosing a floaty, see-through peach-toned gown featuring a plunging neckline edged with delicate lace, a softly gathered bodice, and a flowing, tiered skirt that fell to the floor in loose folds.

The film itself, directed by David Ayer, follows Special Forces officer James Belmont and his combat dog, Odin, as they fight to survive in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash. The cast also includes J.K. Simmons, rounding out an ensemble built around Pitt’s return to intense, physical survival storytelling.

According to Page Six, a Los Angeles court recently approved Maddox’s petition to change his legal name from Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt to simply Maddox Chivan Jolie. The court’s hearing record noted that the petition was granted with no objections and that the order had been signed and filed, with Maddox attending the hearing remotely.
The change had been building publicly for months. Earlier this year, while working as an assistant director on his mother Angelina Jolie’s film ‘Couture,’ Maddox was credited simply as Maddox Jolie, a departure from his ‘Maddox Jolie-Pitt’ credit on 2024’s ‘Maria.’ He formally submitted the name-change petition to the court on May 28, citing personal reasons.
Maddox isn’t the first of Jolie and Pitt’s six children to make this move. His younger sister Shiloh filed her own petition on her 18th birthday, officially becoming Shiloh Jolie rather than Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, a decision her attorney said was tied to “painful events” in her life. Zahara similarly introduced herself using only the Jolie name while joining her sorority at Spelman College, and Vivienne has appeared in at least one Playbill credited simply as Vivienne Jolie.
Of Jolie and Pitt’s six children together, that leaves Pax and Vivienne’s twin brother Knox as the only two who have publicly kept the Pitt surname so far. The pattern reflects the broader strain that’s defined Pitt’s relationship with several of his children since his 2016 divorce from Jolie, a split that launched years of legal battles over custody and the couple’s French vineyard, Château Miraval.

Pitt and Jolie officially reached a divorce settlement in January 2025, closing out one chapter of a legal saga that stretched nearly a decade. Even so, the family’s dynamics continue to surface publicly, with Maddox’s name change landing in headlines the same week Pitt was busy promoting his newest film alongside de Ramon.
Whether intentional or coincidental, the split focus captures where Pitt’s public life currently stands: a high-profile relationship moving steadily forward on the red carpet, running parallel to a family story that’s still finding its own resolution behind the scenes.
