Peacemaker was a hit series when it first came out and most people were satisfied with the goofy The Suicide Squad spin-off starring John Cena. James Gunn’s project foreshadowed the DCU and while the movies are evolving separately, the series’ highly-anticipated second season is set for an August 2025 premiere.
