Brooklyn Beckham has once again drawn attention to the ongoing family tension with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, after he did not post anything online for his father’s 51st birthday. This comes just weeks after he also stayed silent during Victoria Beckham’s birthday.

David Beckham marked his birthday on Saturday, but there was no public message from Brooklyn or his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. Meanwhile, the rest of the family made sure to celebrate him online.

Victoria Beckham shared a warm message alongside a video of David enjoying time with the family’s chickens. In her post, she described him as their “world” and wrote, “We love you so much!!! Happy birthday to the best husband, daddy, son, brother, and friend. To the kindest most generous soul. We will spoil you all day!!!! Nobody deserves it more than you xxx ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️”

David also responded with gratitude, thanking his family and friends for making him feel special throughout the day. He wrote, “I just want to say thank you and I love you all so much 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 @victoriabeckham & my beautiful family thank you 🩷”

Their other children, Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham, and Harper Beckham, also shared birthday tributes, showing clear family support on social media.

Brooklyn’s silence stood out, especially because it mirrors what happened earlier this year when he also did not publicly acknowledge Victoria’s birthday. That earlier moment already sparked talk about distance within the family.

The situation between Brooklyn and his parents has been strained for some time. Reports have suggested that reconciliation is uncertain, with sources saying the family remains hurt and surprised by how long the tension has continued.

The reported conflict first became public in a bigger way in early 2026, when Brooklyn shared messages indicating he did not want to reconcile at that time. He has also previously made claims about disagreements surrounding his wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham in 2022, including issues involving his parents.

Despite the ongoing silence, reports suggest David and Victoria still hope for a reunion with their eldest son one day.

From an outside view, this situation clearly shows a family that is still deeply divided, especially during moments that are usually meant for celebration. At the same time, it is also clear there is still emotional weight on both sides.
