‘Call My Agent!’ Is Officially Coming Back as a Movie as Netflix Sets Release Date
French television has produced plenty of hits over the years, but few have crossed over into global obsession quite like ‘Call My Agent!’ The talent agency dramedy, known in its home country as “Dix pour cent,” ran for four seasons between 2015 and 2020 before wrapping up, quickly becoming a Netflix breakout success that spawned international remakes in India, Italy, and South Korea.
Fans have spent nearly five years wondering whether the beloved ensemble might ever reunite, and after a lengthy stretch of on-and-off development, that wait is finally coming to an end. The film adaptation has cleared every hurdle standing between announcement and release, and Netflix has now locked in exactly when audiences will get to see it.
‘Call My Agent! The Movie’ is set to premiere globally on Netflix on September 10, bringing back nearly the entire original cast for a story set five years after the fictional ASK talent agency shut its doors. Camille Cottin returns as Andréa Martel, who has left the ruthless world of talent representation behind to finally pursue her dream of directing her first feature film, only for disaster to strike just days before shooting begins when her lead actor abruptly drops out.

That crisis forces Andréa back into contact with her former colleagues, reassembling the dynamic that made the series such a hit in the first place. Laure Calamy returns as Noémie Leclerc, alongside Thibault de Montalembert as Mathias Barneville and Grégory Montel as Gabriel Sarda, with Nicolas Maury, Fanny Sidney, and Liliane Rovère all reprising their roles as well.
The film’s guest star lineup has generated significant buzz on its own, with names including Laetitia Casta, Vincent Macaigne, Ophélia Kolb, and Anne Marivin all confirmed to appear. Given the show’s history of stunt-casting real actors playing exaggerated versions of themselves as agency clients, that guest list continues a tradition that helped define the series’ irreverent charm throughout its original run.
Behind the camera, Émilie Noblet takes over directing duties, working from a script written by original series creator Fanny Herrero alongside co-writer Lison Daniel. Herrero has remained closely involved with bringing these characters back to the screen, and her continued presence has helped ease concerns about whether the film could capture the same tone that made the show so beloved.
Speaking about revisiting these characters after years away, Herrero reflected on how meaningful the reunion felt, telling Deadline, “They are so inspiring, I love them all,” while also noting how much time had passed since the series concluded. She added that the film isn’t necessarily the definitive end for the franchise either, telling Variety that “no one’s in prison, they haven’t stopped at all,” leaving the door open for more stories down the line.
The road to this release wasn’t exactly smooth, with the project moving through years of delays and quiet updates before finally solidifying earlier this year. That uncertainty seemed to dissolve entirely once the cast reunited for a photocall in Cannes, followed by a talk show appearance on France Télévisions’ “C à Vous,” generating a fresh wave of excitement ahead of the official announcement.
Longtime producers Dominique Besnehard, Harold Valentin, and Michel Feller are producing the film through Mon Voisin Productions and Mother Productions, keeping the same creative backbone that shepherded the series through its original run intact. With a 90-minute runtime and a release date now locked in, fans finally have a concrete date to look forward to after years of speculation about whether this reunion would ever actually happen.
For a show that built its reputation on chaotic agency politics and starry cameos, seeing the full band back together for one more adventure feels like a fitting send-off, or perhaps just the beginning of something new.
