Carter Reum has addressed online rumors about his marriage to Paris Hilton, insisting their relationship is stronger than ever. The 45-year-old venture capitalist commented on a resurfaced clip from the 2024 Grammy Awards that had been circulating on social media on March 19.
In the video, some viewers thought Paris seemed to pull away when Reum leaned in for a kiss on the red carpet. Rumors quickly spread online about tension between the couple. Reum was quick to clarify the moment, writing that it was far from what people were making it out to be.
“Rest assured, my wife @parishilton is my one in a trillion, and we’re the happiest and best couple,” he posted. He explained that Paris simply moved to avoid smudging her makeup, adding a lighthearted message for fans analyzing their every move.
“I just love giving me wife a kiss, and she just hates her makeup being smudged on a red carpet. It’s not that deep, everyone, and yes, she loves me to death,” Reum wrote. The couple, who met in their twenties but began dating in 2019, have now been married for five years and share two children, Phoenix and London.
Paris Hilton has often spoken about how Reum has transformed her life, describing him as someone who truly sees her, not just her public persona.
