After years of fans asking for it, Daredevil is finally getting his classic “DD” logo on his suit. The update will show up in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, and fans are already excited.

Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock, will now wear a costume that’s more faithful to the comic books, something fans have wanted since the original Netflix show.

New videos from the set showed a much clearer look at the updated suit. Unlike earlier blurry photos, this time the red “DD” letters are easy to see on the black costume. The footage also showed a scene being filmed at Josie’s Bar, with Daredevil entering the bar in the middle of a fight. While it’s not clear who he’s fighting, it could be a returning villain.

The logo has been missing from Daredevil’s live-action suits for years. There were even rumors it might be added in post-production during the first season of Born Again, but that never happened. Now, it’s officially part of the costume.

Charlie Cox shared his thoughts on the change, saying, “Yeah it’s badass man, we finally got there.”

The upcoming season picks up where the previous one left off, with Matt Murdock continuing his fight for justice in New York City. But this time, he’s also up against Wilson Fisk, who’s now the mayor and leading a campaign against vigilantes through a task force.

The second season has brought back several familiar faces, including Vincent D’Onofrio as Fisk, along with Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Jon Bernthal. Krysten Ritter is also joining the cast. Filming started in early 2025 and will wrap up by July.

Originally, Marvel Studios planned one long season with 18 episodes. But after some changes behind the scenes, the show was split into two shorter seasons. Dario Scardapane is now in charge of the series, with most of the episodes directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Other directors like Solvan Naim, Iain B. MacDonald, and Angela Barnes are also working on the show.

The new season will be released on Disney+ in March 2026 and will include eight episodes. It will be part of the MCU’s Phase Six lineup.
