Charlie Cox recently shared his thoughts on the possibility of Daredevil joining the new Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

When asked about Matt Murdock teaming up with the superhero team, Cox said, “I think Matt Murdock would kind of think about it. He’s a lone wolf; he likes to work by himself. He’s a reluctant kind of team-up guy I think. A bit like Frank Castle is. Charlie Cox would be absolutely thrilled. I would be chomping at the bit to do that.”

Cox is currently busy with the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, where he returns as the blind lawyer and vigilante. Production began on February 28, under the working title Out the Kitchen 2.

Directors for the season include Benson and Moorhead, Naim, MacDonald, and Barnes. Hillary Fyfe Spera returned as cinematographer, joined by Jeffrey Waldron for specific episodes, while Philip Silvera returned as stunt coordinator and second unit director.

Filming has taken place in several locations, including Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where Cox was seen in his black Daredevil suit at the set for Josie’s Bar in late March. Additional scenes were filmed in Chelsea in early April. By mid-May, filming was halfway complete and wrapped on July 9.

While fans are excited about the idea of Daredevil joining the Avengers, Cox is not yet confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday.

Daredevil joining the new Avengers would be an exciting addition to the MCU. His lone-wolf personality could create interesting dynamics with the team. With Cox back in Born Again Season 2, it seems like Marvel is keeping the door open for future crossovers. Do you think Daredevil should join the Avengers, or should he stay a solo hero?
