Chris Evans, 44, and Alba Baptista, 28, Step Out for Oscars 2026 in Rare Joint Appearance
Chris Evans and Alba Baptista were one of the most stylish couples at the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 15. The pair made their first official red carpet appearance together at the Oscars, showing off matching, elegant outfits that caught everyone’s attention.
Evans, 44, looked sharp in a navy Giorgio Armani tuxedo with a classic bow tie. He finished his look with sunglasses and a rose gold Chopard watch and cufflinks. Baptista, 28, matched his vibe in a silver off-the-shoulder gown, wearing a Chopard sapphire and diamond necklace, earrings, and a ring.

This red carpet moment was extra special because it was their first big public outing as a couple since becoming parents. The two welcomed their first child, a daughter named Alma Grace Baptista Evans, in October 2025 in Massachusetts.
Sources close to the family said the couple has been very protective of their privacy during this new chapter. One insider said Evans is “completely in awe of his daughter” and is enjoying being a devoted father.
Evans and Baptista first started dating in 2022 and got married in a private ceremony at a Cape Cod estate in September 2023. Even though they keep a low profile, they have shared small glimpses of their life together, including an appearance at the 2024 Vanity Fair afterparty.

Before his marriage, Evans had often talked about wanting a family. He once told reporters, “That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family.” On the work front, Evans continues to have a busy career. In 2025, he starred in the romantic comedy Materialists with Dakota Johnson and Pedro Pascal and also appeared in the holiday action movie Red One.
Fans are excited to see him back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers: Doomsday, which will come out in December. Alba Baptista has also been growing her career.
She started in Portuguese TV and later gained international fame with her lead role in the Netflix series Warrior Nun. She also starred in the 2022 movie Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris. Since becoming a mom, Baptista has been careful about which projects she takes on so she can spend more time with her daughter.
