Chuck Norris built his career on action, not long speeches or complex roles. People didn’t watch his movies for deep stories. They watched to see him fight and win. For years, he was one of the biggest names in action films, often mentioned alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone.

What made him different was that his fighting skills were real. He trained for years, earned black belts in multiple disciplines, and even competed at a high level before becoming a star.

His connection to Bruce Lee also helped shape his image. The two trained together, and their fight scene became one of the most talked-about moments in martial arts cinema. At that point, Norris was known as a serious fighter turned actor.

Later, his image took a completely different turn online. People started creating jokes about him, known as Chuck Norris facts. These stories made him seem almost superhuman.

Instead of pushing back, he went along with it. He even joked about it in movies, including a moment in The Expendables 2 where he tells a story about surviving a cobra bite while the snake didn’t.

Still, that was not his favourite joke. In a 2008 interview, Norris shared the one he liked the most. He said, “My favourite is that they wanted to put Chuck Norris on Mount Rushmore, but the granite wasn’t tough enough for his beard.” That line became one of the most quoted jokes about him.

Recently, his name has been back in the news for a more serious reason. Chuck Norris passed away on March 19 at the age of 86. His family said he died peacefully at his home in Hawaii after a sudden medical emergency.

Just a week earlier, he had posted a video of himself training and joked that he does not age, he just levels up. Even after his death, fans will still see him one more time.

He appears in the upcoming film Zombie Plane, where he plays a version of himself leading a strange mission. The movie was filmed on his ranch in Texas and is expected to be released later this year.

Norris is survived by his wife, Gena O Kelley and his children. His legacy is a mix of real fighting skill, action movie fame, and internet culture that turned him into something larger than life.
