‘Clair Obscur’ Devs Say Photo Mode Is Coming—Just Not Yet

The team behind Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is thinking seriously about adding a photo mode to the game. It’s not in there yet, but the developers say it’s something they really want to include in the future.
In an interview with Final Fantasy Union, art director Nicholas Maxon talked about how much people have been asking for a photo mode. “It’s very high on the list of things we want to do,” he said. Maxon explained that not only are fans requesting it a lot, but even people on the team are excited about the idea. Still, it’s not the easiest thing to build. “It’s a lot more work than some of the other stuff we do,” he added, “but we definitely want to work on it.”
Right now, the focus for developer Sandfall Interactive is fixing bugs and polishing the game based on feedback they’re seeing online.
They also have other updates in mind, like improvements to the “Lumina Loadouts,” but they’re still figuring out the best time to roll those out.
So, while there’s no confirmed release date for a photo mode yet, it sounds like fans can expect something in the future once the team gets through their current list of tasks.
