Dan Stevens Joins ‘Lego: Star Wars’ Sequel as New Villain Solitus
Dan Stevens is heading into the world of Lego Star Wars. According to Disney and Lucasfilm, the actor has been cast as the main villain in the upcoming animated sequel series, Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past, which will be streaming on Disney+.
In this new series, Stevens will voice Solitus, a former Jedi who has turned to the dark side. Solitus is on a mission to find Forcehold, a hidden realm full of old and forgotten parts of the galaxy. Once a Jedi, he now poses a serious threat to everyone.
The show is a follow-up to Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, which first came out in 2024. This new chapter brings back familiar faces while introducing fresh characters and dangers. The galaxy is in trouble again, and it’s up to a group of heroes to stop what’s coming. Sig Greebling and Darth Dev have to work together, combining their unusual powers, Force Building and Sith Breaking, to take on Solitus and the chaos he brings.
Alongside them are Jedi Bob, Yesi Scala, and Servo, who join in to explore the far corners of the Lego Star Wars universe in search of forgotten pieces of history.
The series will have four episodes and is set to launch on September 19 on Disney+. It’s being made through a collaboration between Lucasfilm, the Lego Group, and Atomic Cartoons.
Some of the original voice cast is returning. Gaten Matarazzo is back as Sig Greebling. Tony Revolori returns as Darth Dev. Bobby Moynihan is voicing Jedi Bob again, with Marsai Martin as Yesi Scala, Michael Cusack as Servo, and Ahmed Best as Darth Jar Jar. Mark Hamill is also coming back for a special appearance as Luke Skywalker.
New cast members include Ashley Eckstein as Lego BrickHeadz Ahsoka Tano and Ben Schwartz as the rabbit-like character Jaxxon. Now, Dan Stevens joins the lineup as the powerful and dangerous Solitus.

Stevens has been keeping busy. He recently starred in Cuckoo with Hunter Schafer and appeared in Netflix’s Zero Day. He was also in Abigail, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and voiced a character in The Boy and the Heron, which won an Oscar. His next role will be in Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.
The series is written and executive-produced by Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit. Chris Buckley directed it. Other executive producers include James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, Josh Rimes, Jill Wilfert, Jason Cosler, and Keith Malone. Daniel Cavey and Dan Langlois also worked on the series as producers.
