‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Leaked Set Video Hints at a Dark Future for Cherry!

A new behind-the-scenes video from Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has resurfaced, and it looks like bad things are ahead for Matt’s sidekick, Cherry. The video shows Clark Johnson lying on a medical stretcher as he’s placed into an ambulance.

This confirms two key points: Cherry survives the events of Season 1 and becomes a new target for Matt’s enemies, likely Kingpin, during Season 2.

Cherry served in the New York City Police Department for many years and became a detective, working with his partner, Angie Kim. He felt that the police were becoming less important due to the rise of vigilantes in the city. Cherry retired from the NYPD and had a retirement party at Josie’s Bar in Hell’s Kitchen on the night when Bullseye attacked and killed Foggy.

Cherry helped evacuate people and discovered that Daredevil was actually Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer he had known. After Matt stopped being Daredevil following the death of his friend Foggy Nelson, Cherry decided to keep Matt’s secret and became a private investigator, helping him out.

You can see how these events could put Cherry in danger. He was also tasked with uncovering any dirt on Kingpin, and although his initial investigation didn’t reveal anything new, there’s still the possibility of what he might uncover later. This is especially true given the rumors that Kingpin will actively start prosecuting vigilantes in season 2.

Some rumors even suggest that Matt will be forced to form his own team to fight back against Kingpin’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF).
