‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is one of the most talked-about upcoming MCU projects, partly due to the fan-fueled hype and partly due to its turbulent product that’s been plagued with everything from SAG-AFTRA strike to creative differences with what the showrunners wanted and what the studio wanted.

This is why a few weeks ago, it was announced that the show would partially be scrapped, and a few days ago, it was announced that a new creative team would sign their names on the upcoming MCU-based TV show. Dario Scardapane will act as a new showrunner for the series, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead announced as the co-directing team.

Marvel plans to retain certain scenes and episodes that are already filmed while introducing new serialized elements. Scardapane will be responsible for crafting the new episodes and scenes according to The Hollywood Reporter, seamlessly integrating the existing footage. Benson and Moorhead will take the helm as directors to conclude the first season, though the exact number of episodes remains uncertain. Additionally, Corman and Ord are set to step into the role of executive producers.

What initially started as legal-crime drama revolving around Matt Murdock trying to leave his past behind will now feature a completely different change of direction put to the front of what made the original series so great. The showrunners will also orient the show more as a network TV series than as a movie, something that previous Disney+ productions had in common.

Once again, it remains uncertain how much of the original ‘Deadpool: Born Again’ will be kept and how many episodes that will entail. One thing we do know is that fans shouldn’t look forward to the show being a continuation of the Netflix series. It’s also been confirmed to reboot the character, somewhat taking him in a new direction.

‘Daredevil: BornAgain’ is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2024. Have something to add? Let us know in the comments below!
