‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 Expands Cast With 8 Returning Netflix Marvel Characters

Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is already in production and it is bringing back several characters from the old Netflix Marvel shows.

Before Marvel Studios took control of the characters, Netflix ran a connected group of shows that included Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders. After those shows ended, the characters were not seen together for years. Now they are slowly returning in the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, which is becoming the main link between the Netflix era and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In Season 3, Charlie Cox will return as Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil. His story continues after the events of Season 2, where his secret identity was revealed. According to the storyline setup, Matt ends up in prison, and the season is expected to explore that situation.

Vincent D’Onofrio is also back as Wilson Fisk, known as Kingpin. After stepping down as mayor of New York City in the previous season and avoiding prison through a deal, Fisk is still expected to remain a major force in the story.

Krysten Ritter returns as Jessica Jones. She already appeared in Season 2 and continues her role as a private investigator and mother. Reports suggest she will stay important in Season 3 as well.

Mike Colter is back as Luke Cage. He was shown returning in Season 2’s finale and is confirmed to appear again. His story is expected to expand further alongside the other returning heroes.

Finn Jones returns as Danny Rand, also known as Iron Fist. This marks his first confirmed return in a Marvel Studios project after the Netflix series ended. His character is expected to reconnect with the group after a long absence.

Wilson Bethel is returning as Bullseye. He has been a dangerous enemy and sometimes unstable ally in earlier seasons. His role continues after the events where he was last seen working in a new direction connected to hired missions.

Deborah Ann Woll returns as Karen Page. She was closely tied to Matt Murdock’s personal life and legal world. After being arrested and later freed in Season 2, she is expected to help Matt again while he is in prison.

Royce Johnson is also back as Detective Brett Mahoney, according to The Direct. He has supported Daredevil and his allies in earlier stories by providing police information and help from inside the system.

These returning characters show how Daredevil: Born Again is fully pulling the Netflix Marvel world into the MCU. The series is expected to continue building these connections as Season 3 develops further.
