The preview starts in a broken world. Professor X is seen inside a damaged X-Mansion, watching a strange energy event. The setting looks destroyed, hinting that something serious has already happened before the main story begins.

Soon after, Robert Downey Jr. appears as Doctor Doom, revealing his new role in the Marvel universe. Without his mask, he warns that “something is coming” and says it cannot be stopped. This sets him up as the main threat of the film.

The trailer then shows different groups trying to work together. The Fantastic Four meet with the Avengers, now led by Sam Wilson.
