What Happens to Zoe in the Manhunter Reveal Episode?

The fallout from the reveal moves quickly once Antaan and his team make their move against the Macon ranch. Antaan and his team assault Will’s ranch, and Zoe has coached Will to pretend to be the Manhunter in order to throw Antaan off the trail. The plan does not work in Will’s favor.

The Manhunter’s Death and John Stewart’s Role

The episode’s final act is where ‘Lanterns’ delivers its most devastating turn. Zoe tracks John down just as the car begins to burn, but rather than save him, she waits, a choice that seals her own fate as much as it seals John’s.
